every now and then I make a journal entry... typically when something really strikes me. The death of michael Jackson has struck me. It strikes me in the fact that we never really think about how we all are destined to die one day. Even superstars are mortal and fallible and that is what we suprises me. Why do we tend to deify mortals with fame. I think its because we need a being higher than ourselves to worship and fame makes certain talented people convenient to that role. I'm not gonna get into a theological debate about what I beleive but I will make the comment about how dangerous this is. People fail it's a fact so don't rely on them to make you feel special. As the song goes "Your beautiful". Anyways it really is sad that a man so talented is now gone and I will be praying for his family. Remember You don't know what you got till it's gone.....
